SUMMARY:

The Armstrong Company is seeking a high-energy and dynamic Operations Assistant who will be responsible for ensuring day-to-day operational functions are running efficiently. The right candidate will be one who works well under pressure, thinks out-of-the-box, and is highly self-motivated. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure all paperwork from the prior day has been submitted and complete, and any other reports and pictures submitted.
  • Review any job reports and handle any issues that occurred. 
  • Coordinate with salespeople regarding any customer issues.
  • Monitor and handle any emails throughout the day.
  • Work with VP, Commercial Operations on any outstanding tasks/pressing issues.
  • Update job schedule throughout the day and ensure that job details are filled in correctly and completely.
  • Any other duties as assigned by Manager.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:  

  • High school education or equivalent work experience.
  • Possesses great organizational skills
  • Proficient with using the MS Office suite of products and online apps for scheduling, inventory, and other items.
  • Effective teamwork and leadership skills
  • Must have a strong work ethic and overall positive attitude

    • Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

    • This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 50 pounds. 
    • Ability to sit for long periods; stand and walk frequently; and bend, stoop, and reach occasionally.
