The Operations & Events Coordinator, in conjunction with the entire Operations team, has primary responsibility for management and oversight of school-wide events and functions, including school-hosted, rental, or off-site venues. The Operations & EventsCoordinator will serve as the first point of contact with UVA venue, catering, and event services partners. They will oversee the event request submission and tracking process as well as triage and respond to internal service tickets related to events and operations. The Operations & Events Coordinator is supported by a robust team of student employees. They will have a secondary role supporting the physical spaces of the Batten School. This is an in-person position that is "designated," and a physical presence may be required even when regular University operations are suspended. It requires a customer-service orientation and a high level of personal tact and diplomacy.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Education: Bachelors Degree required. Experience: 3+ years of relevant professional experience required. Additional responsibilities include:
Compensation Range: $50,000 - $60,000 commensurate with education and experience.
