Responsibilities of the Operations and Dispatch Specialist:
- Answer inbound calls from drivers, customers, and other stakeholders in a professional manner.
- Route calls and inquiries to the appropriate team members.
- Perform accurate data entry and maintain operational records.
- Assist with documentation and administrative support related to transportation and dispatch activities
- Schedule and dispatch drivers and equipment.
- Monitor and track shipments to ensure timely and safe delivery.
- Communicate with drivers, customers, and internal teams to provide updates and resolve issues.
Preferred Qualifications of the Operations and Dispatch Specialist:
- 1–2 years of business, customer service, operations, or related experience preferred.
- Able to adapt to changing priorities and perform well under pressure.
- Capable of managing multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy.
- Maintains a positive attitude and builds strong professional relationships.
- Eager to learn and develop professionally.
