Operations Administrator (Temp‑to‑Perm)

Location: Southeast Houston, TX 77058

Schedule: 8:00-4:30 PM or 8:30-5:00 PM

Pay Rate: $19-$23/hour

Employment Type: Temp‑to‑Perm

Work Environment: Fully onsite during contract period

About the Role

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a client in Southeast Houston to identify a reliable and motivated Operations Administrator to support a fast‑paced operations team. This temp‑to‑perm opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys administrative work, is eager to learn new systems, and thrives in an environment where teamwork and adaptability are essential.

While prior industry experience is not required, 1-3 years of administrative support experience will help ensure success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enter and maintain accurate data in internal operating systems

  • Research and retrieve information from external websites (e.g., sale dates, arrival dates)

  • Create and manage Bill of Lading masters within internal and ocean carrier systems

  • Provide administrative and operational support to senior team members

  • Learn and navigate multiple internal systems and external portals

  • Take detailed notes and document processes to support accuracy and consistency

  • Strong basic computer skills, including:

  • Microsoft Outlook (email, calendar invites, scheduling)

  • Microsoft Excel (basic navigation and common functions)

  • Microsoft Teams

Work Environment & Expectations

  • Fully onsite during the temp‑to‑perm period (no remote work during contract)

  • Potential hybrid eligibility after approximately 5-6 months, in line with company policy

  • Must be reliable and realistic about commuting to Southeast Houston (77058)

  • Consistent attendance and dependability are critical

Pay Details: $19.00 to $23.00 per hour
