Job Description
Grace is looking for an Operations Administrator to support essential plant functions, including Accounting, Purchasing, Training, Maintenance, and Human Resources. They are responsible for maintaining accurate records, and frequently interface with suppliers and other sites within Grace. The Administrator assists the Plant Manager in various tasks regarding employee and business events, schedules, and activities.
The Operations Administrator is in Aiken, SC and reports to the Plant Manager.
Responsibilities
- Administration of plant maintenance records
- Purchase supplies and services for all facility departments. Includes data entry in SAP and Ariba for purchase.
- Assist with coordination of payments to vendors and contractors
- Maintain employment records
- Assist employees with benefit enrollment and general HR/employment needs
- Assign and maintain system for site computer-based training courses
- Promote good Management-Employee relations and participate in various facility activities
- Backup role for payroll and logistics documentation
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 2+ Years experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with detailed record keeping
- Experience using Microsoft Office
Physical Requirements and Environment
- Must be able to stand, walk, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and climb stairs
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SAP, Excel, and SharePoint
- Experience with generation of purchase requisitions, goods receipts, and processes for resolving supplier invoices
- Demonstrated experience organizing, storing and retrieving data regarding employee, maintenance and business information.
- Experience with payment of vendors through purchasing and accounting systems
