The Operations/Administrative Assistant supports managers and employees by providing daily office assistance and managing administrative activities. They aid in efficiency improvements, continuous improvement initiatives, safety, and special projects.
Principle duties include offering administrative support, enhancing team communication, coordinating projects, and supporting the site’s Lean initiatives. They evaluate operations to identify waste, teach and mentor employees in manufacturing and CI principles, and develop programs to foster a CI culture. Additional responsibilities involve preparing reports and performing other duties as needed.
Qualifications include a high school diploma, experience in a lean manufacturing environment, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and knowledge of CI tools like 5S, Kanban, and Kaizen. Spanish skills are a plus. The role promotes an equal opportunity work environment.
