Are you a dedicated OR RN seeking a rewarding opportunity to work in a dynamic surgical environment? We are looking for an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse to provide exceptional care across a variety of complex procedures. This position offers the chance to work with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced setting, ensuring optimal outcomes for your patients.
In this vital role, you will be responsible for supporting a wide spectrum of surgeries including orthopedics, cardiovascular, ENT, gynecology, plastics, vascular, ophthalmology, general surgery, trauma, urology, neurosurgery, and robotic procedures. You will collaborate closely with surgeons and anesthesiologists to deliver high-quality perioperative nursing care, monitor patient status, and ensure safety throughout the surgical process.
Required Skills:
- Minimum of 2 years of OR experience
- Critical care skills and knowledge of sterile techniques
- Strong patient assessment and monitoring abilities
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a surgical setting
Nice to Have Skills:
- Trauma Level II experience
- Epic electronic medical record experience
- Charge nurse or leadership experience
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Valid nursing license in good standing
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Experience in orthopedic, cardiovascular, thoracic, ENT, GYN, plastics, vascular, ophthalmology, general surgery, trauma, urology, neurosurgery, and robotic procedures preferred
Other Requirements:
- Weekend and call shifts as scheduled (3-4 call shifts per 4-week cycle)
- Availability for holiday coverage as needed
- Certification in ACLS and BLS
- Shift: Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (06:45 18:45)
- Hospital provides scrubs and supports licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements
