    Description

    Our client, a leader in building management and operational support, is seeking a dedicated Operations Specialist to join their team. As an Operations Specialist, you will be an essential part of the Facilities Management Department supporting building systems and ensuring operational excellence. The ideal candidate will demonstrate resilience, a proactive attitude, and excellent problem-solving skills, which will enable you to thrive in this dynamic environment.

    What's the Job?

    • Monitor and manage critical alarms related to building mechanical infrastructure, fire, and life safety systems through Building Automation Systems (BAS).
    • Conduct proactive virtual tours of facility systems to verify proper operation and maintain working knowledge of BAS functionality.
    • Track, escalate, and communicate incidents with potential business disruption through established protocols and communication channels.
    • Support and coordinate building shutdown activities via BAS, ensuring timely notifications to stakeholders.
    • Prepare, maintain, and issue accurate shift reports that capture critical operational information and ensure seamless communication across teams.

    What's Needed?

    • High School diploma or GED equivalent required; coursework in a technology-related field is preferred.
    • Strong proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
    • Understanding of technology, software applications, and computer systems.
    • Ability to analyze system operations, identify malfunctions, and take corrective action.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong customer service orientation.
