Seeking a Patent Attorney or Agent to support patent and IP risk analysis related to open source and standards participation.
Responsibilities include reviewing technical materials, analyzing patents, developing risk assessments, and collaborating with business teams to address IP challenges.
Must have a USPTO registration, a degree in computer science, engineering, physics, or mathematics, and 5+ years of patent-related experience, including drafting, prosecution, and strategic IP work.
Experience with software licensing, open source licenses, IPR policies, and standards organizations is essential.
Preferred qualifications include patent claim-charting, infringement analysis, software development experience, and standards participation support.
