6- month contract to hire
Pay Rate: $65.00 - $70.00per hr.

Our client is seeking an experienced Open Banking Developer to join a small, collaborative team delivering a new open banking platform. The role is contract-to-hire, with immediate opportunity to contribute to production goals. The ideal candidate is a C# API developer with cloud experience, a team player, and someone who can quickly pick up tasks, work independently, and contribute meaningfully from day one. Some React front-end experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain APIs in C# for the open banking platform
• Support integration of React front-end applications with experience APIs (preferred, not required)
• Collaborate with internal teams to integrate APIs with internal and external systems, including vendor integrations
• Participate in daily team syncs, sprint planning, and bi-weekly demos
• Work closely with product owner, scrum master, DevOps, automation engineers, and developers to deliver work in two-week sprints
• Communicate effectively, provide status updates, and escalate blockers as needed
• Contribute to design and implementation with a focus on quality, scalability, and security

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of professional development experience
• Deep knowledge of C# and API development
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred, other cloud experience acceptable)
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a small team
• Excellent communication skills, able to interact effectively with cross-functional team members
• React front-end experience (Angular experience does not satisfy)
• Prior experience in open banking or financial services projects
• Experience with DevOps / CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with automation or API testing
• Agile/Scrum experience

Bonus Skills

• Prior banking or financial services knowledge is a plus but not required
