Role Summary

The Onsite Landscape and Groundskeeper Director- Stonebridge Ranch is the premier Association in North Texas, seeking a highly skilled Landscape and Grounds Director. The Director would manage the day-to-day operations of a 500-acre property, with the onsite team of Contractors to maintain proactive communication with Coworkers, Homeowners, and Contractors.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the management and upkeep of common area grounds and landscaping
  • Responsible for supervising the groundskeepers
  • Keeping the common areas around the buildings, walkway, parking lot areas, roadways, areas around the pool, medians, around the exterior perimeter of the community, and any other common areas impeccable always.
  • Remove litter, garbage, and debris.
  • Remove landscaping debris from all common areas.
  • Remove graffiti from stop signs and other signs, as well as from electrical and cable boxes. Report damaged and missing signs.
  • Remove debris from around, in between, and under all common areas' hedges.
  • Blow with a blower all sidewalks and streets as needed.
  • Pressure cleaning of all entrances and walkways.
  • Painting of all common area curbing, planters, bulletin boards, fences, walls, monuments, signs, fire hydrants, street sign posts, light posts, street strips, and speed bumps.
  • Must work to ensure all inventory items are in good working condition.
  • Must ensure the securing and emptying of the trash dumpster and the area around the dumpster.
  • Must work cooperatively with other staff members.
  • Complete all work orders assigned by Management and or BOD.
  • Turn in a weekly maintenance report.
  • Work with vendors to ensure high standards are met
  • Report any maintenance issues to the Property Manager.
  • Report all maintenance emergencies and accidents immediately to the Property Manager

  • Must understand the Association's commitment to keeping the common areas clean and beautiful at all times and be willing to work toward this goal every day.
  • Previous HOA, master-planned communities, or property management experience
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
  • Degree in Horticulture, Landscape Management, or related field
  • Irrigation licensing and related certification
  • Must possess a current driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Knowledge of all hand tools and equipment.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule
  • Able to assist with projects as needed.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
  • Ability to climb stairs, ladders, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, or reach frequently.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull objects up to 50 pounds regularly and occasionally heavier with assistance.
  • Manual dexterity to operate tools, equipment, and machinery safely.
  • Visual acuity to inspect equipment, read gauges, and perform detailed tasks.
  • Hearing ability to detect alarms, equipment sounds, and verbal instructions in noisy environments.
  • Ability to work in varying environmental conditions (heat, cold, dust, noise, outdoors).
  • Ability to wear and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Ability to work varying schedules, including evenings, weekends, on-call, and overtime as required.

Pay and Benefits:

$80,000 to $90,000 yearly, depending on education and experience.
