Onsite Experimental Machinist 2 position in Redondo Beach, CA, requiring no telecommuting or travel.
Responsibilities include operating 3 and 5-axis CNC milling machines, programming with Mastercam, and performing conventional machining. Must read engineering drawings, follow specifications, and communicate effectively.
Basic qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED with at least 5 years of CNC programming/machining experience.
- Strong knowledge of Mastercam for 3 and 5-axis programming.
- Experience with Haas CNC machines.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
- Willingness to work first shift and overtime as needed.
Preferred qualifications include over 10 years of CNC experience, familiarity with Mazak machines, and experience with EDM and Plunge/Sinker machines. A current Secret clearance is also preferred.
