Onsite IT Project Lead/Technical Operations Manager (Contract)

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience leading IT deployment, migration, infrastructure, or technical support projects. 
• Demonstrated leadership experience managing technical teams in onsite environments.
• Strong customer-facing communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven ability to interact professionally with hospital leadership, clinical staff, vendors, and technical personnel. 
• Experience managing multiple priorities and deadlines in fast-paced environments.
• Familiarity with asset management, desktop deployment, migration projects, and technical support operations. 
• Healthcare IT experience is highly preferred but not required.
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict-resolution skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate a team of IT technicians supporting deployment and migration activities across multiple hospital and healthcare locations. 
• Serve as the primary point of contact between hospital leadership, project stakeholders, and technical teams.
• Manage project timelines, priorities, risks, and daily operational activities.
• Provide regular status updates, issue escalation management, and executive-level reporting. 
• Oversee computer asset tracking, inventory management, and deployment activities.
• Ensure successful system imaging, hardware installations, software deployments, and user data migrations. 
• Monitor service delivery quality and ensure support requests are addressed efficiently. 
• Identify process improvements and implement operational best practices to increase project effectiveness.
• Facilitate team meetings, communicate project expectations, and remove obstacles impacting project delivery.
• Maintain project documentation and ensure compliance with healthcare and customer requirements.
