Job Description:

Trans-System currently has an opening for an Onsite Account Night Supervisor position at our Ogden, UT location. This person performs a variety of responsible maintenance, groundskeeping, and custodial duties to support the securement, safety, and upkeep of trailers, facilities, and yard operations. Serves as the "eyes and ears" for the On-Site Manager and System Supervisors by monitoring daily operations, ensuring compliance with safety procedures, and supporting crew coordination and performance.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Recommend securement and custodial needs to appropriate personnel.
  • Ensure crew members are scheduled appropriately and report to work on time.
  • Train and reinforce tarping and strapping requirements for all crew members.
  • Operate specialized equipment and tools used in securement operations.
  • Maintain tools and equipment in clean, safe, and operational condition.
  • Communicate and enforce all safety SOPs to ensure full compliance.
  • Assist THD Warehouse with rail car cabling as needed.
  • Support securement and tarping activities for THD loads.
  • Ensure corner protectors are properly applied to all required loads.
  • Verify crew members are properly outfitted with required PPE (vests, gloves, cold-weather gear) and report non-compliance to management.
  • Prohibit use of earbuds, headphones, and cell phones during securement activities; report violations to management.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support safe and efficient operations

Education/Experience: to perform this job successfully, an individual must have:

  • High School graduate or equivalent.
  • Two or more years of experience in an operational or similar role.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and other productivity applications and platforms.
  • Knowledge of TMW operations.
