Job Title: Full-Time, 10-month, Online Student Advisor, aligned with the Grantsburg School District (GSD) Support Staff Schedule. Position begins in the 2026-2027 School Year at iForward School, Grantsburg School District.
Job Description
In its 19th year, iForward seeks a creative, full-time remote Student Advisor for student services. This role is a primary contact for students, ensuring student academic success and retention through proactive outreach, technical assistance, and academic/post-secondary planning. Hours are 7:45 AM - 4:15 PM, following a traditional school calendar.
Qualifications
Education: High school diploma required; Associate degree in Education or Counseling preferred.
Experience in educational settings with student support/relationship management
Technical Skills: Proficient in Google Workspace and able to learn specialized software.
Communication: Exceptional verbal and written skills with a proven ability to build remote rapport via voice-to-voice engagement.
Organization: capable of independent work, managing large caseloads, and accurate documentation.
Requirements
Contacting students/parents via phone, online meetings, text, and email to support attendance, academic efforts, and provide program information.
Facilitating online orientation, advising on courses and learning strategies, and addressing students' personal, social, and academic needs.
Performing administrative and student support tasks as assigned.
Must be prepared to address student needs and communicate effectively with parents to build educational partnerships.
