Job Summary and Qualifications

Performs delegated patient care tasks and clerical unit duties. 

  • Look ahead to what patients might need, respond quickly, and help ensure every experience feels seamless and compassionate 

What qualifications you will need:

· Transporting patients

· Maintaining cleanliness of equipment

· Performing some aspects of patient care

· Providing patient registration support

· Scheduling of patient follow-up appointments, consults, and testing

· Obtaining pre-certifications for radiology testing

· Ordering and stocking supplies

· Running errands, transporting supplies, lab specimens and oncology drugs

· Entering orders in the Expanse system

· Phlebotomy

· Performing vital signs, heights and weights

    What qualifications will you need:

    Completion of an accredited EMT (Basic or Intermediate) program, or LNA program, or Medical Assistant program respectively. Employees will receive competency training on site for new skill sets.

    An LNA certification or a current National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians certification at the Basic or Intermediate level, or AAMA Certified Medical Assistant.

    Recent EMT, LNA, or MA experience preferred.

    BLS certification required within 30 days of the beginning of deployment
