Job Title: Oncology Infusion Registered Nurse (RN)
Location: Fort Myers, FL
Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8-hour day shifts

Position Summary
The Oncology Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) provides specialized care in a high-volume outpatient infusion setting. This role involves administering chemotherapy, immunotherapy, biotherapy, and supportive treatments while ensuring patient safety and adherence to clinical standards.
Nurses maintain a maximum 4:1 patient ratio and typically manage 9–11 patients per day, including infusions, injections, lab work, and transfusion services.
Key Responsibilities
Infusion Therapy
- Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and biotherapy treatments
- Deliver and monitor specialty infusion medications
- Observe and respond to infusion-related reactions
Patient Care & Procedures
- Perform patient assessments before, during, and after treatments
- Administer blood products (PRBCs, platelets)
- Conduct therapeutic phlebotomy and injections
- Provide patient education on treatments and side effects
Documentation & Systems
- Accurately document care, treatments, and patient responses
- Utilize EMR systems (Epic preferred) with oncology modules
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of Oncology Infusion RN experience
- Active RN license
- BLS certification required
Preferred Qualifications
- OCN certification
- ONS Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy/Biotherapy Provider Card
- Prior travel nursing experience
Technical Requirements
- Experience with Epic EMR required
- Oncology module experience (e.g., Beacon) preferred
Work Expectations
- Maintain a strict maximum 4:1 patient-to-nurse ratio
- Floating may be required to nearby facilities
