We’re hiring an Oncology Clinical Pharmacist Specialist to play a key role in supporting patients receiving care in our Oncology Infusion Center. In this highly specialized position, you’ll help ensure every patient receives safe, effective, and personalized medication therapy—while also partnering closely with providers and leading clinical pharmacy initiatives within the infusion setting.
Work Schedule
Shift: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (no weekends / consistent schedule)

Who you are
The outpatient oncology pharmacy department provides direct clinical services within our ambulatory oncology clinics and infusion centers, working collaboratively with oncologists, advanced practice providers, nurses, and other members of the healthcare team to deliver safe, effective, and patient-centered care. Clinical services are integrated into multidisciplinary oncology workflows, with pharmacists contributing to treatment optimization, medication safety, and quality improvement initiatives. WakeMed Cancer Care offers opportunities for teaching, quality improvement, and active participation in a dynamic, patient-centered oncology care model.
