Are you passionate about helping businesses launch and grow on one of the world"s most innovative platforms?

Amazon Autos is revolutionizing the vehicle discovery and shopping experience, connecting customers with their ideal vehicle. As an Onboarding Specialist at Amazon Autos, you"ll play a critical role in bringing new dealerships onto our marketplace - guiding them from contract signing through their first live transactions and setting them up for long-term success.

As an Onboarding Success Manager, you will serve as the primary point of contact for new dealer partners throughout the onboarding journey. You"ll project manage dealers through each stage of the onboarding process - from implementation and setup to configuration - ensuring a seamless and efficient launch experience. You"ll work cross-functionally with internal teams and directly with dealer personnel to resolve blockers, drive accountability, and continuously improve the onboarding experience at scale.

This role offers a unique opportunity to shape how automotive retailers enter the Amazon marketplace. If you thrive in a fast-paced, start-up-like environment and are energized by building scalable processes and helping partners succeed, we encourage you to apply.

Key job responsibilities

  • Dealer Onboarding Project Management: Own the end-to-end onboarding process for new dealerships, guiding them through each stage - including implementation, setup, configuration, integration, and launch - to ensure an efficient and successful launch.
  • Dealer Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for dealers during the onboarding period, building trust and maintaining clear communication throughout the process. Escalate and resolve blockers quickly to keep onboarding timelines on track.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with internal teams including Business Development, Account Management, Seller Experience, Product, and Program Management to align on onboarding milestones and resolve issues at the root cause.
  • Process Improvement: Identify gaps and inefficiencies in the onboarding process and develop scalable solutions, including updated SOPs, tooling improvements, and training materials. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that benefit the broader dealer base.
  • Data & Reporting: Track and report on onboarding KPIs - including time-to-launch, onboarding completion rates, and blocker trends - to surface insights and drive accountability across the team.

A day in the life

As an Onboarding Specialist, you will be based in our office and will occasionally travel onsite to meet with dealers across metro locations. You will work cross-functionally with internal partners across Seller Experience, Seller Operations, Product Management, and Program Management, and externally with dealer general managers and dealer group contacts. Your primary responsibilities will include: (1) project managing new dealers through the full onboarding lifecycle, (2) resolving onboarding blockers and escalating issues to the appropriate teams, and (3) identifying and implementing process improvements that accelerate time-to-launch and improve the dealer experience.

About the Company

A

Amazon.com Inc

At Amazon, we don’t wait for the next big idea to present itself. We envision the shape of impossible things and then we boldly make them reality. So far, this mindset has helped us achieve some incredible things. Let’s build new systems, challenge the status quo, and design the world we want to live in. We believe the work you do here will be the best work of your life.

Wherever you are in your career exploration, Amazon likely has an opportunity for you. Our research scientists and engineers shape the future of natural language understanding with Alexa. Fulfillment center associates around the globe send customer orders from our warehouses to doorsteps. Product managers set feature requirements, strategy, and marketing messages for brand new customer experiences. And as we grow, we’ll add jobs that haven’t been invented yet.

It’s Always Day 1
At Amazon, it’s always “Day 1.” Now, what does this mean and why does it matter? It means that our approach remains the same as it was on Amazon’s very first day – to make smart, fast decisions, stay nimble, invent, and stay focused on delighting our customers. In our 2016 shareholder letter, Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos shared his thoughts on how to keep up a Day 1 company mindset. “Staying in Day 1 requires you to experiment patiently, accept failures, plant seeds, protect saplings, and double down when you see customer delight,” he wrote. “A customer-obsessed culture best creates the conditions where all of that can happen.” You can read the full letter here

Our Leadership Principles
Our Leadership Principles help us keep a Day 1 mentality. They aren’t just a pretty inspirational wall hanging. Amazonians use them, every day, whether they’re discussing ideas for new projects, deciding on the best solution for a customer’s problem, or interviewing candidates.
