Position:  On-Site Service Engineer (Networking/Data Center)
Location:  Tucson, AZ
Job Status:  On-Call, On-Site Support

Summary of Position:
GlobalXperts is looking for knowledgeable field-based network engineers to be part of an on-site service response team.  The on-site service engineer will be responsible for the proper handling, verification, troubleshooting, and/or replacement of hardware at the data center location.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the resolution of all network issues within the data center
  • Manage all emergency/scheduled maintenance activities within the data center
  • Manage all network outage events
  • Provides on-site support for inventory audit and reconciliation processes
  • Provide break/fix support within agreed upon response time
  • On-site verification of hardware within the data center
  • On-site troubleshooting of hardware within the data center
  • On-site replacement of hardware within the data center
Required Skills/Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of on-site support experience in Networking/Data Center
  • Experience with routers, switches, racking and stacking
  • Data Center break/fix experience
  • Experience with handling, troubleshooting, verification, and replacement of hardware
  • CCNA or equivalent certification
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and maintain industry knowledge
  • Valid driver's license
  • Willingness to provide on-call services/support during and after normal business hours
  • Familiarity and experience with various troubleshooting tools
Desired Skills/Qualifications:
  • Experience with Arista Networks products
  • Optical cabling/connector and troubleshooting experience
