Description: At Revive, our mission is to provide individuals with personalized direct access to behavioral health and emotional support. Summary: The dedicated consultant is primarily responsible for supporting participants in improving their emotional well-being through individual consultation and skill building/problem resolution sessions, as well as occasional structured group sessions and disruptive event management.

This is a contracted position, 16 hours per month, on-site.

Responsibilities:

The consultant will provide confidential, individual in-the-moment support and skill building/problem-solving sessions to support the emotional, mental, career, and social well-being of participants. The consultant will work collaboratively with participants to explore emotional and psychosocial concerns, provide recommendations and deliver short-term supportive interventions. The consultant will provide referrals to appropriate resources, including EAP, mental health treatment providers, community resources, and employer-sponsored benefits, and will provide ongoing follow-up to guide and support participants to ensure successful connection with these resources.

  • Conduct individual sessions using utilizing evidence-based methodologies, problem-solving strategies, and supportive consultation sessions to enhance participants' coping skills, deliver psychosocial education, and identify additional needs.
  • Plan and facilitate occasional onsite seminars and small group discussions to support the emotional, social, career, work engagement, and mental well-being of employees.
  • Provide referrals and recommendations tailored to participant's needs.
  • Ensure effective coordination and continuity of care by facilitating successful connection to appropriate resources and offering ongoing professional support as participants navigate their EAP services, health plan, and/or community-based network resources.
  • Maintain accurate, current, and complete documentation in Revive's customized database.
  • Participate in survey data gathering and outcomes assessment.
  • Provide consultation and support services to organizational leaders and managers regarding workplace and/or employee related concerns.
  • Contribute towards a culture of well-being by advancing ideas, suggestions, and content to support employee well-being.
  • Serves as an extension of and representative of Revive in supporting the customer's objectives and program goals, as well as Revive's objectives and goals as assigned.

Requirements

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum Doctoral degree preferred in a behavioral health field.
  • Holds and maintains an independent clinical license in California.
  • At least two (2) years of experience in the field of alcoholism and substance use disorders.
  • Previous EAP experience working in a business setting and advising supervisors, managers, and HR/Office of Wellbeing administrators in dealing with employees experiencing problems; CEAP preferred.
  • Minimum ten (10) years in practice and consultative services.
  • Experienced and proficient in facilitating group discussions and trainings of up to 100 participants.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and secure electronic case documentation.
  • Ability to host and manage virtual meetings/sessions using Zoom or similar platforms.

Placement Requirements:

  • Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Strong administrative skillset and daily documentation of completed sessions, client notes, and time spent.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle a variety of assignments simultaneously.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to work well with others and autonomously.
  • Ability to maintain confidential information.
  • Attention to detail and good time management skills.
  • Follows through on commitments, delivers on promises, and meets deadlines.

Salary Description: $150.00-$250.00
