As a Technician III, you'll use your expertise to diagnose, repair, and maintain material handling equipment that keeps our customers' operations running safely and efficiently. You'll be a trusted technical resource, delivering exceptional service while helping build a culture where safety, quality, and teamwork come first.
Diagnose, repair, rebuild, and perform preventive maintenance on forklifts and other material handling equipment, including engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, drivetrains, brakes, steering, and lifting systems.
Troubleshoot complex equipment issues, perform inspections, complete basic welding as needed, and ensure all repairs meet manufacturer specifications and Briggs quality standards.
Accurately document service work, maintain parts inventory, and keep your company vehicle, tools, and work area organized and ready for the job.
Follow all safety requirements, complete technical training, provide technical guidance to teammates, and support service leadership with building a strong team.
Five or more years of forklift repair or related heavy equipment experience, along with outstanding mechanical and diagnostic troubleshooting skills.
High school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and the ability to use precision measuring instruments. Trade school training and Hyster-Yale certifications are a plus.
Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to work independently while supporting teammates when needed.
Ability to lift up to 75 pounds, furnish your own tools, travel to customer locations, and participate in an on-call rotation as business needs require.
