OMS Solution Architect

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced OMS Solution Architect with strong expertise in IBM Sterling Order Management System (OMS). The ideal candidate will design, implement, and support scalable order management solutions for retail or e-commerce environments. This role involves working closely with business and technical teams to deliver end-to-end OMS solutions, integrations, and system enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and architect IBM Sterling OMS solutions for order management, inventory, fulfillment, and returns.
• Lead Sterling OMS implementations, upgrades, migrations, and customizations.
• Prepare High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documents.
• Integrate Sterling OMS with ERP, CRM, WMS, payment systems, tax systems, and other enterprise applications.
• Support Order Hub, Call Center, SOM applications, DTK setup, and latest Sterling fix packs.
• Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with business requirements.
• Collaborate with business, development, QA, and project teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide technical leadership, mentor team members, and review solution designs.
• Follow Agile methodologies and participate in design reviews and project planning.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience with IBM Sterling OMS
• Strong experience with Sterling OMS architecture, upgrades, and migrations
• Hands-on experience with Order Hub, Call Center, SOM applications, DTK setup, and latest fix packs
• Strong knowledge of Java
• Experience integrating Sterling OMS with ERP, CRM, WMS, payment gateways, and tax systems
• Good understanding of Supply Chain and Order Management processes
• Experience with AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes
• Familiarity with JIRA, Azure DevOps (ADO), and Bitbucket
• Strong communication, documentation, and leadership skills
