It is located south of the historical Oko" gold district some 95 km west of Georgetown.To ensure the achievement of this large-scale project G Mining Ventures is looking for an experienced and motivated individual to fill the position ofRodbusterSteel BenderWe are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious RodbusterSteel Bender to join our construction team. As a RodbusterSteel Bender you will be responsible for the accurate placement assembly and securing of rebar and steel reinforcement on construction projects. You will play a key role in ensuring the structural integrity and safety of the buildings roads bridges and other infrastructure projects we work on.Key ResponsibilitiesRebar Installation Lay out cut bend and tie rebar and steel reinforcement according to blueprints and project specification.Reinforcement Assembly Assemble steel reinforcement cages mats and other structures toBlueprint Interpretation Read and interpret construction drawings plans and specifications to ensure accurate placement and alignment of rebar.Safety Compliance Follow all safety regulations and wear personal protective equipment PPE to minimize risks. Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.Team Collaboration Work closely with other trades and construction workers to coordinate tasks and ensure smooth project execution.Equipment Operation Safely operate hand tools power tools and other machinery required for bending cutting and positioning rebar.Quality Assurance Ensure all rebar placement meets industry standards and is done with precision to guarantee structural integrity.Worksite Maintenance Help in general construction duties including organizing materials and maintaining worksite cleanliness.QualificationsSkills and ExperienceTechnical certificate and or equivalent experience in construction or steel work.At least 2 years working within construction projectmining.Proficient in reading blueprints and schematics with the ability to precisely measure and cut rebar.Ability to work in physically demanding environments lifting heavy materials and standing or bending for long periods.Strong understanding of safety procedures and best practices in the construction industry.Experience using hand and power tools for rebar assembly and placement.Good communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members and supervisors.Working ConditionsPosition based at the OKO Project site.
