Function/Duties of Position:Enrolled in or on vacation from or is otherwise registered in Graduate Program (minimum 4.5 credit hours)
Valid driver’s license, excellent organizational skills
Work in environmental science laboratory and/or field work. Small boat operations
Working with large datasets using MS Excel or similar.
Working in an environmental chemistry laboratory at OHSU (year round) and assisting with field sampling in marshes of the Lower Columbia River (Feb – Oct). Will require full days (8 hours) to complete field work, up to 5 days per month during field season. Laboratory work includes sample preparation, sample processing, equipment maintenance, and data entry. Benchtop chemistry and microscopy training will be provided.
