    The Idaho Infant Toddler Program (ITP) is recruiting for an Office Specialist 2 position for our Coeur d' Alene office. The position will support our Early Intervention Direct Services and Service Coordination teams. This position will provide a variety of administrative support functions, data entry and customer service to our statewide ITP teams.

    EXAMPLE OF DUTIES:

    • Administrative Support to providers and service coordinators
    • Assist with Medical records requests to physicians/clinics/hospitals
    • Assist with Public Records Requests
    • Upload documents into electronic data system
    • Send out Physician Recommendation & Summary of Services for Physician signature
    • Data entry into electronic data system
    • Assist with survey calls
    • Assist with requested mailings

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

    You must possess all the minimum qualifications below to pass the exam for this position.     • Good knowledge of effective business English usage, spelling, punctuation and grammar. Typically gained by completion of a high school or college English course OR at least six months of experience applying these concepts OR successful completion of a nine month to one year office administration course beyond high school.
    • Experience using alphabetical, numerical or subject filing systems to include: determining file names, setting up new files, classifying, labeling, filing and retrieving. Typically gained by completion of an office occupations course which included hands-on experience in each of the areas listed OR approximately six months of full time work experience using and maintaining filing systems.
    • Experience reviewing documents for compliance with procedures. Typically gained by at least six months of work experience where you were responsible for ensuring forms were properly completed OR successful completion of a nine month to one year office administration course beyond high school.
    • Ability to use a computer to enter and retrieve information. Typically gained by at least six months of full-time work experience.
    • Experience answering a business telephone using knowledge of business telephone procedures and etiquette. Typically gained by at least six months of full-time work experience.
