Office Manager – Construction

A locally owned and highly respected commercial construction subcontractor has partnered with Aspen Personnel Service to recruit an experienced, friendly, and efficient Office Manager. This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable company and step into a well-established role as a valued long-term employee prepares for retirement.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
  • Process Certified Payroll
  • Perform a variety of HR functions, including benefits administration and timecard management
  • Oversee fleet management, ensuring company vehicles are licensed, insured, and properly maintained
  • Perform job costing and assist with project financial tracking
  • Reconcile company credit card statements
  • Manage company cell phone plans and related accounts
  • Coordinate company parties, employee appreciation events, and team activities
  • Provide administrative support to various departments and assist with special projects as needed

Skills & Experience

  • 8+ years of experience in a similar Office Manager role within the construction industry required
  • 5+ years of experience using QuickBooks
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and wear many hats
  • Willingness to cross-train and support other areas of the business
  • Positive, hardworking, team-oriented attitude
  • Professional, approachable, and able to thrive in a collaborative environment
  • Experience coordinating employee events and company functions preferred

Full Time:

  • Monday–Thursday or Monday–Friday schedule available
  • Flexible work hours
  • Onsite position (remote work is not available)

Compensation

  • $30.00–$36.00 per hour DOE
