Title: Office Manager/Bookkeeper
Location: Plainview, NY
Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:30 – 4:30
Compensation: $75-85K + Benefits Offered
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Office Manager/Bookkeeper to join our team in Plainview, NY. This is a dynamic, multi-functional role that combines bookkeeping, human resources, and office management. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable managing financial operations while supporting day-to-day office functions.
What You Do
- Oversee all daily bookkeeping activities, maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections
- Perform regular bank and credit card reconciliations
- Utilize QuickBooks Desktop to track, analyze, and report financial data
- Process payroll through ADP and maintain payroll records
- Administer employee benefits and assist with HR-related tasks
- Support budgeting processes and perform monthly revenue reconciliations
- Serve as a point of contact for internal staff and client inquiries
- Collaborate with leadership and other departments to provide financial insights and operational support
- Work with IT department to troubleshoot and maintain workstations
- Liaison with CPA firm
- Maintain facility & vendor services
What You’ll Have
- Proven experience as a Full-Charge Bookkeeper or in a similar role
- Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop (3+ years), Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Solid understanding of accounting principles, including AP/AR and reconciliations
- Experience with payroll processing (ADP preferred) and employee benefits administration
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
