Office Assistant / Bookkeeper Clerk
 About the Role:
Personnel Services Unlimited is seeking candidates for an Office Assistant/ Bookkeeping opening! 

Our client is a local Gastonia, NC, energy service/distributor.  
This temporary, short-term assignment
Pay is $17.00/hr.

Responsibilities include:
  • Manage day-to-day office tasks, such as processing orders, answering phones, and waiting on customers.
  • Handle accounting tasks: Accounts payable/receivable, General Leger, journal entry, Month and Year End Close.
  • Applying payments and sales orders to customers accounts.
  • Balance cash register, customer accounts, and daily fuel inventory.
  • Check-in driver's invoices and balance their trucks to ensure accuracy.
 
Job Skills and Requirements:  
 
Candidates for this role must have previous office and accounting experience. Excellent customer service and organizational skills are needed.
  • Accounting software and MS Office Suite ( Word, Outlook, Excel) proficiency.
  • Proficient in 10 key-data entries.
  • Customer Service
  • Cash Register experience
  • Credit Card Machine experience
  • High School Diploma with additional education in accounting or related field.
