Office Assistant

Garcia Roofing is looking for a Sales Office Assistant  in Prairieville, LA to join our team. The duties of this role is to be a liaison between potential customers and the Outside Sales team. Assist the Outside Sales team with office duties that ensure the team hits targeted sales goals. Also, scheduling appointments and answering calls.

Role and Responsibilities but not limited to:

• Answer phones in a professional manner
• Organize and schedule appointments
• Provides timely responses to customer inquiries
• Confirmations of appointments
• Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
• Provide general support to visitors
• Provide general administrative and clerical support
• Provide assistance as needed whether it is taking down questions or emails to keep customer updated on appointment.
• Update appointment calendars and schedule meetings/appointments
• Comply with the policies, procedures, employee handbook of the company.
• Comply with the safety policies, procedures of the company.
• In order to guarantee the success of the company and the smooth daily operations of the department, you must put all your effort to achieve the goals, support the rest of the team, and perform additional tasks not mention on the job description but required for your direct supervisor, managers, CEO.

Requirements:

• Valid Driver’s License
• High School Diploma or higher education preferred
• Experience with answering a multi-line phone system
• Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Problem-solving abilities and detail-oriented mentality
• Courteous demeanor with a strong customer service mentality

Job Information:

• Full-time Monday – Friday
• Pay is hourly
