Job Title: Bid Coordinator / Office Assistant
Location: Kearney, NE
Pay: $20.00/hour (Depending on Experience)
Schedule: Monday Friday | 8: 00 AM 5: 00 PM

Are you organized, detail-oriented, and enjoy working with people? We are looking for a Bid Coordinator / Office Assistant to support our client's estimating and project teams. This role is essential in helping coordinate subcontractor bids and keeping projects organized from the early planning stages.

This is a great entry-level opportunity for someone who wants to grow within the construction industry while building valuable administrative and project coordination skills.
What You ll Do

  • Make outbound calls to subcontractors to request bid participation for upcoming construction projects

  • Maintain and update bid tracking spreadsheets and subcontractor contact lists

  • Assist the estimating team by collecting, organizing, and documenting bid responses

  • Develop and maintain Excel spreadsheets to track project information and bid results

  • Communicate professionally with subcontractors, vendors, and internal team members

  • Assist with general office and clerical duties as needed

  • Support coordination and organization of project bid documents

  • Maintain accurate records and ensure timely follow-ups with subcontractors
Qualifications

  • 2+ years of clerical or office experience preferred

  • Strong customer service and communication skills

  • Comfortable making outbound phone calls

  • Experience using Microsoft Excel and spreadsheets

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to work well in a team environment

  • Strong time management and ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines

  • Professional, dependable, and motivated to learn
