Primary Purpose:
To provide a well-organized smoothly functioning environment in which students can take full advantage of the campus support program(s) and available resource materials.
Qualifications: Education/Certification:
- High School Diploma; two (2) years of college and business training desirable.
Special Knowledge/Skills:
- Knowledge of office procedures, proficiency in typing, and use of the computer.
- Effective organization, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well with adolescents.
- Such other qualifications as the principal may find appropriate and acceptable.
Experience: Major Responsibilities and Duties:
- Maintain student records and effective computerized filing system for student records and reports.
- Communicate student progress and provide updated reports to teachers, counselors, and/or house office staff.
- Communicate with teacher/house office regarding concerns, needs or problems of individual students.
- Maintain confidentiality.
- Assist the various departments with miscellaneous assignments as needed.
- Assumes responsibility for acquiring skills necessary for fulfilling assigned duties.
- Participate in staff development training to improve job performance.
- Participate in faculty meetings and special events as assigned.
- Performs such other duties as the Superintendent/supervisor may require.
