Primary Purpose:

To provide a well-organized smoothly functioning environment in which students can take full advantage of the campus support program(s) and available resource materials.

Qualifications: Education/Certification:

  • High School Diploma; two (2) years of college and business training desirable.

Special Knowledge/Skills:

  • Knowledge of office procedures, proficiency in typing, and use of the computer.
  • Effective organization, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well with adolescents.
  • Such other qualifications as the principal may find appropriate and acceptable.

Experience: Major Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Maintain student records and effective computerized filing system for student records and reports.
  • Communicate student progress and provide updated reports to teachers, counselors, and/or house office staff.
  • Communicate with teacher/house office regarding concerns, needs or problems of individual students.
  • Maintain confidentiality.
  • Assist the various departments with miscellaneous assignments as needed.
  • Assumes responsibility for acquiring skills necessary for fulfilling assigned duties.
  • Participate in staff development training to improve job performance.
  • Participate in faculty meetings and special events as assigned.
  • Performs such other duties as the Superintendent/supervisor may require.

Tools/Equipment Used: Standard office equipment including computer and peripherals

Posture: Long periods on your feet when monitoring students

Motion: Prolonged use of computer

Lifting: Occasional light lifting and carrying (less than 15 pounds)

Environment: May work prolonged or irregular hours; Frequent district-wide travel

Mental Demands: Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and written; work with frequent interruptions; maintain emotional control under stress

Salary: Pay Grade: AS02, $15.88 - $18.75 hourly rate commensurate with experience according to District salary schedule. Days: 187 Start Date: 2026-08-04 00:00:00.000
