Make Every Stop Count as an OCS Route Sales Representative

Picture your day starting at 7:00 a.m. You load your truck, confirm your route relief assignments, and head out to keep coffee and tea stations humming for workplaces across your territory. By 3:30 p.m. (with overtime as needed), you've delivered product, ensured equipment is spotless and working, and helped customers stay in stock—while uncovering new sales opportunities along the way.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide route relief and exceptional service, ensuring every scheduled customer receives timely delivery and support.
  • Deliver, replenish, and rotate coffee, tea, and related supplies; keep beverage stations set to standard at each stop.
  • Keep equipment clean and functional; complete at least one CQC (Cup Quality Check) daily.
  • Escalate issues quickly to the Area Sales Manager (ASM) to resolve concerns and protect customer satisfaction.
  • Own daily invoices, on-hand inventory, and collections when you’re on a route.
  • Grow Revenue per Stop by filling distribution gaps on core items, running seasonal and LTO promotions, executing pricing actions, and maintaining perfect station standards.
  • Flag inefficiencies, customer dissatisfaction, or opportunities to the ASM during route relief.
  • Support inventory cycle counts, warehouse tasks, and customer-related projects as assigned.
  • Learn brewing equipment fundamentals to make basic adjustments and minor repairs.
  • Follow the Farmer Brothers customer call process (the Farmer Brothers Way to Sell) to build loyalty; make opportunistic sales calls when time allows.
  • Pitch in across warehouse operations, A/R collections, and customer service as needed.

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.; overtime when needed.

Driving Requirements

  • Valid Driver’s License required.
  • Must be able to complete a successful DOT physical.

Qualifications

  • Clean, strong driving record.

Personal and Professional Strengths

  • Sharp at identifying customer needs; active listener and clear communicator.
