About the Role

  • Evaluate patients and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans
  • Provide therapeutic interventions designed to improve functional performance and independence
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
  • Educate patients and caregivers on treatment strategies and home programs
  • Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and records

 

Responsibilities

  • Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and reassessments
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy interventions
  • Document patient progress and treatment outcomes
  • Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and team meetings
  • Educate patients and families regarding therapeutic recommendations
  • Ensure compliance with professional standards and regulatory requirements
  • Contribute to quality improvement and patient-centered care initiatives

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Active Occupational Therapist license or eligibility for licensure in California
  • Current BLS/CPR certification or ability to obtain prior to employment
  • Strong communication, organizational, and clinical reasoning skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Previous experience in rehabilitation, outpatient, inpatient, or skilled nursing settings preferred
  • Commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care
