RVNAhealth Therapy Center is seeking a compassionate, motivated, and skilled Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our growing outpatient rehabilitation team. As a proud member of the Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS) Rehabilitation Network, RVNAhealth Therapy Center is committed to delivering exceptional rehabilitation services through evidence-based practice, clinical excellence, and ongoing professional development.
Our team includes both Orthopedic Clinical Specialists (OCS) and Neurologic Clinical Specialists (NCS) who serve as mentors and resources for staff. This position offers a unique opportunity for clinicians who are passionate about learning and professional growth, providing exposure to advanced treatment techniques and collaboration with highly skilled rehabilitation specialists.
Position Summary
The Occupational Therapist is responsible for evaluating, developing, and implementing individualized treatment plans that improve patients' ability to perform activities of daily living, enhance functional independence, and achieve personal goals.

Key Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and reassessments.
Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient goals and clinical findings.
Provide evidence-based interventions to improve strength, coordination, cognition, mobility, and daily function.
Educate patients, caregivers, and families regarding treatment plans, home exercise programs, and adaptive strategies.
Collaborate with physical therapists, speech-language pathologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and interdisciplinary team meetings.
Support community outreach, wellness programs, and educational opportunities as appropriate.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
Current Connecticut Occupational Therapist license.
Current CPR certification (or ability to obtain upon hire).
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
Experience in outpatient rehabilitation, neurological rehabilitation, orthopedic care, hand therapy, Parkinson's disease, dementia care, or geriatrics is preferred but not required.

Compensation:
The pay range for this position $85,000 to $100,000 annually and represents RVNAhealth's commitment to pay transparency and is a reasonable estimate of possible compensation for this role at the time of posting. The final salary for this role will be determined based on careful consideration of a variety of factors, such as the candidate's exact location, experience, and expertise related to the qualifications.
