    OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST

    NORTON SCHOOL

    8:45AM - 4:05PM

    Description

    Certified occupational therapist needed. The practitioner will be responsible for direct, indirect, and consultative services to students in accordance with their IEP's. In addition, the practitioner will write progress summaries, develop intervention plans, and when required perform evaluations.

    The practitioner should possess skills to work as an active member of a team as well as independently, and must possess effective communication skills.

    Requirements

    This position requires the applicant to have successfully completed and graduated from an ACOTE accredited school, CT State License, and hold the National Board of Certified Occupational Therapists. Experience with Assistive Technology, an understanding of postsecondary transition services as well as supervising certified occupational therapy assistants is preferred.
