Job Summary and Qualifications
The Occupational Therapist provides high-quality, patient-centered care by managing the complete process of occupational therapeutic care of an assigned group of patients, in coordination with the physician and the patient care team. The Occupational Therapist completes patient assessments, and participates in developing and implementing individualized care plans, focusing on goal achievement, patient engagement, and positive patient experience. The Occupational Therapist provides or directs a majority of the patient's physical therapy to support patients throughout home health and the continuum of care.

Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
(OTR) Occupational Therapist Registered, or (OT) Occupational Therapist
Bachelors Degree, or Masters Degree
5 yrs professional practice as a licensed OT - preferred
2 yrs experience in level II, III, or IV NICU - preferred
St. David's Medical Center, part of St. David's HealthCare, is a comprehensive medical facility with three locations: St. David's Medical Center, Heart Hospital of Austin, and St. David's Georgetown Hospital. Located in Central Austin, St. David's Medical Center features a 371-bed acute care hospital and a 64-bed rehabilitation hospital, offering a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services.
