Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join a dynamic healthcare team supporting patients across inpatient medical-surgical and rehabilitation settings. This role focuses on helping individuals regain independence and improve their ability to perform daily activities following illness, injury, or hospitalization.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans based on functional needs
- Deliver therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, self-care, and daily living skills
- Work across inpatient, acute rehab, and outpatient environments as needed
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care
- Educate patients and caregivers on adaptive techniques and equipment use
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with regulations
- Ensure a safe and supportive treatment environment
Schedule- Inpatient Med/Surg setting
- Weekend and holiday rotation required
Required Qualifications- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Active Occupational Therapy license in the state of practice
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Preferred Qualifications- Experience in acute care, inpatient rehab, or outpatient therapy settings
- Flexibility to work across multiple care environments
