Job Description We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Per Diem Occupational Therapist to join our Acute Care team. The clinician in this role will work with adult patients presenting with a wide range of medical surgical orthopedic and neurological conditions. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations for adult acute care patients including assessment of functional mobility ADLs cognition vision and safety. Develop and implement individualized evidence-based treatment plans to promote independence recovery and successful discharge planning. Deliver interventions focused on ADL retraining functional mobility cognitivevisual-perceptual skills therapeutic exercise and caregiver education. Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary team members including PT SLP nursing case management and physicians. Document evaluations daily notes and discharge recommendations in accordance with professional standards and facility policies. Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. Current NJ state licensure as an Occupational Therapist OTRL. Current BLSCPR certification or willingness to obtain prior to start. Prior experience in acute care strongly preferred comfort with medically complex adult patients required. Excellent communication clinical reasoning and time-management skills.
