    Employment Type: Part-time

    Shifts Available: Day Shift

    Hours: 8-hour shift

    Location: St. Mary's Medical Center- Blue Springs, MO  

     

    Join our outpatient rehabilitation team as an Occupational Therapist (OT) and make a meaningful impact by helping patients regain independence in their daily lives. In this role, you will work one-on-one with patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, and chronic conditions, focusing on improving functional abilities, fine motor skills, and activities of daily living (ADLs).

    Responsibilities:

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but is not limited to):

    • Deliver outpatient occupational therapy treatments focused on ADLs, fine motor skills, and upper extremity function
    • Provide therapeutic activities, neuromuscular re-education, and functional training
    • Educate patients on adaptive techniques and home exercise programs (HEP)
    • Document care and monitor progress in EMR (Epic)
    • Support orthopedic, neurological, and post-surgical rehabilitation
    • Ensure compliance with Medicare, CMS, and clinical guidelines
    Qualifications:

    Before we go any further, we do have some deal-breakers. You must have:  

    • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
    • Current state Occupational Therapy certification/license
    • Current BLS (AHA) certificate

    Additional Qualifications That Are a Plus: 

    • National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy certification, AOTA, and OTAC
