Job Overview The Occupational Therapist I provide occupational therapy services including evaluation, treatment, follow up and documentation using general competencies for inpatients and/or outpatients referred to the OT department. Provides supervision for therapy aides/assistants and students with specific patients or tasks as appropriate. Provides continuous consultation and education to families. The Occupational Therapist I is an entry level position in a Career Advancement Program (CAP). EXPERIENCE - 3 years preferred experience with feeding and/or swallowing CERTIFICATION(S) - BLS for Healthcare Providers/CPR LICENSURE -Colorado State Registration for Occupational Therapy - National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy; Credentialing must be completed by the Medical Staff Office (MSO) within 3 months of employment This position has been defined and is governed by the Children's Hospital Colorado Medical Staff bylaws,continuation of employment is contingent upon the review and approval of the Colorado Health Care Professionals Credential Application within 3 months of employment. Failure to successfully pass the credentialing process may result in the termination of your employment.
