Position Summary

The Occupational Therapist evaluates patients and develops individualized treatment plans to enhance functional independence across multiple care environments, including:

  • Acute hospital
  • Acute rehabilitation
  • Inpatient medical-surgical
  • Outpatient services

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering therapeutic interventions that support activities of daily living
  • Promoting patient safety and participation in meaningful routines
  • Collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
  • Educating patients and caregivers on adaptive strategies and equipment use
  • Maintaining timely and accurate clinical documentation
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory and facility standards
  • Supporting a safe and effective treatment environment

Must-Have Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
  • Current Occupational Therapy license in the state of practice
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in outpatient, rehabilitation, or acute care settings
