Position Summary
The Occupational Therapist evaluates patients and develops individualized treatment plans to enhance functional independence across multiple care environments, including:
- Acute hospital
- Acute rehabilitation
- Inpatient medical-surgical
- Outpatient services
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering therapeutic interventions that support activities of daily living
- Promoting patient safety and participation in meaningful routines
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Educating patients and caregivers on adaptive strategies and equipment use
- Maintaining timely and accurate clinical documentation
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory and facility standards
- Supporting a safe and effective treatment environment
Must-Have Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Current Occupational Therapy license in the state of practice
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

- Experience in outpatient, rehabilitation, or acute care settings
