What You'll Bring:
- A Bachelors degree or higher in Occupational Therapy
- Valid NYS licensure or eligibility to obtain it
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
- Ability to successfully pass pre-employment health clearance
- Strong assessment and evaluation skills to determine patient needs
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with healthcare teams, patients, and families
- Adequate record-keeping and documentation abilities
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with pediatric or geriatric populations
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Participation in multidisciplinary team settings
- Bilingual skills are a plus but not mandatory
Educational & Experience Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Occupational Therapy; Masters or higher preferred
- At least 2 years of clinical experience in occupational therapy
Additional Requirements:
- Ability to work 8-hour shifts, primarily during day hours
- Valid NYS license or eligibility for licensure
- Willingness to participate in educational programs for staff development
- Compensation includes an hourly pay rate of $45.67
