Your Impact
- Program Development: Design, implement, and refine safety policies and procedures that align with local, state, and federal guidelines.
- Compliance & Audits: Conduct scheduled audits and field inspections; flag hazards and verify compliance across work areas.
- Training & Empowerment: Provide clear, practical safety and emergency response training to employees at all levels.
- Incident Response: Lead fact-based investigations of incidents and near-misses; document findings and drive corrective actions.
- Data & Documentation: Maintain accurate records of incidents, inspections, and training to support compliance and continuous improvement.
- Culture Building: Collaborate with management to strengthen a proactive safety mindset across the organization.
- Regulatory Vigilance: Monitor industry trends and updates to regulations; adapt programs to stay current.
Qualifications
- Degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, or related discipline preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in a Safety Coordinator or similar safety-focused capacity.
- Strong command of OSHA regulations and consensus safety standards.
- Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
- Comfort working independently while thriving in team settings.
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and adept at solving complex problems.
- Preferred credentials include CSP or CHST.
Technical Proficiency
- OSHA 10-Hour Certification (OSHA 10)
- Workplace Safety & EHS Management platforms and practices
