Your Impact

• Program Development: Design, implement, and refine safety policies and procedures that align with local, state, and federal guidelines.
• Compliance & Audits: Conduct scheduled audits and field inspections; flag hazards and verify compliance across work areas.
• Training & Empowerment: Provide clear, practical safety and emergency response training to employees at all levels.
• Incident Response: Lead fact-based investigations of incidents and near-misses; document findings and drive corrective actions.
• Data & Documentation: Maintain accurate records of incidents, inspections, and training to support compliance and continuous improvement.
• Culture Building: Collaborate with management to strengthen a proactive safety mindset across the organization.
• Regulatory Vigilance: Monitor industry trends and updates to regulations; adapt programs to stay current.

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, or related discipline preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in a Safety Coordinator or similar safety-focused capacity.
• Strong command of OSHA regulations and consensus safety standards.
• Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
• Comfort working independently while thriving in team settings.
• Analytical, detail-oriented, and adept at solving complex problems.
• Preferred credentials include CSP or CHST.

Technical Proficiency

• OSHA 10-Hour Certification (OSHA 10)
• Workplace Safety & EHS Management platforms and practices
