Job Description:

Schedule: 8am- 4:30pm | Monday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday (Off Tuesdays) Travel to Polk and other clinics as needed to support team members and leaders Facilitates triage and transport of injured workers to appropriate facilities. Manages employee medical records using the EMR system, ensuring accurate data entry and report checks. Documents orders, procedures, and assessments legibly and accurately from check-in to check-out. Processes employees from new hire to annual compliance, including screenings and drug tests following federal procedures. Conducts respirator fit testing in accordance with OSHA standards and AdventHealth policies. Relays discharge and follow-up instructions to employees using approved tools. Participates in AdventHealth compliance initiatives and training. Supports Employee Health services such as return to work and Covid-19 employee line. Other duties as assigned.

Collects and processes blood work according to AdventHealth protocols. Maintains knowledge of required immunizations for healthcare workers and adheres to AdventHealth policies. Performs clinical duties under standing orders from the Medical Director.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Demonstrated ability to communicate by reading, writing legibly, speaking, and comprehending English effectively in order to carry out job requirements • Comprehensive knowledge of general nursing theory and practices • Familiar with OSHA, CDC, and other regulatory bodies • Proficient organizational skills • Ability to multitask • Proficient customer service skills • Proficient in critical thinking • Ability to work independently under standing orders • Phlebotomy skills • Proficient with immunization techniques • Familiar with standard precautions and infection control protocols • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word • Ability to review programs and identify appropriate employee health management initiatives • Ability to monitor effectiveness measures for employee health programs to improve employee health and well-being • Ability to review employee work and progress and prepare written reports • Ability to analyze and assess employee health data, techniques, methodology, equipment operations, and quality control to ensure accurate information representation • Knowledge of AOHP guidelines, standard of care • Administering IM, Sub-Q, and intradermal injections • Valid American Heart Association (AHA Basic Life Support (BLS certification, and valid AHA Advanced life support certification (ACLS, PALS, NRP per specialty/unit requirements [Preferred] • Ability to deal efficiently and effectively with a wide variety of individuals • Highly analytical and detail-oriented with strong organizational, communication, record-keeping, and multi-tasking skills • Demonstrated critical thinking skill with a strong customer and patient focus • Proficiency in using various computer programs • Knowledge of occupational health software, especially Systoc, [Preferred] • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of personal information, and possess and model the highest level of personal integrity • Must have exceptional verbal and written communication skills, in English • Ability to understand and effectively help facilitate strategies and goals and organizational objectives
