Occupational Health Nurse 
Peoria, IL (Onsite – Greater Peoria Area Clinics)
Pay: Up to $53/hr
12-Month Contract, option to go internal and convert
Shift: 2:00pm–10:00pm or 3:00pm–11:00pm 

We’re hiring an experienced Occupational Health Nurse to support Caterpillar’s Corporate Medical team across the Greater Peoria area. This is a great opportunity for RNs with clinic, emergency, or occupational health experience looking for an autonomous, impact-driven role.

What You’ll Do

• Provide occupational health nursing services for employee injuries and illnesses
• Perform triage, wellness exams, return-to-work evaluations, and drug testing
• Lead or respond to on-site medical emergencies
• Support disability case management and injury investigations
• Conduct OSHA surveillance exams and fit-for-duty evaluations
• Partner with HR, EHS, and leadership teams on health & safety initiatives
• Assist with wellness programs and employee health education

Required Qualifications

• Active Illinois RN license
• 3–5 years of clinic, ER, or occupational health experience
• BLS certification
• Strong triage and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Excellent communication and organizational skills

 Preferred

• Experience in occupational health nursing
• Knowledge of OSHA, ADA, ergonomics, and workplace safety programs
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (or equivalent experience)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office

• Float role supporting multiple clinics in the Greater Peoria area
• No LPNs – RN required
