Obstetrics & Gynecology (OBGYN) Physician

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (or 9:00 AM–6:00 PM); occasional weekends; on-call 5–6 days/month

We are seeking a dedicated Obstetrics & Gynecology (OBGYN) Physician to provide high-quality, patient-centered care to female patients. This role includes managing reproductive health, delivering babies, treating chronic conditions, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team in both outpatient and hospital settings.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive gynecological and obstetric care

Monitor patients during prenatal, natal, and postnatal periods

Perform diagnostic tests and prescribe appropriate treatments and medications

Deliver babies while ensuring the safety of both mother and infant

Manage chronic and acute conditions related to women's health

Maintain accurate medical records and complete charting documentation

Deliver care in outpatient clinics and hospital environments

Collaborate with the Medical Director and healthcare team on patient care decisions

Participate in clinic policy development and quality improvement initiatives

Recommend referrals to specialists when necessary

Adhere to medical, ethical, and administrative standards

Support nursing staff and implement clinic procedures

Participate in daily team huddles and staff meetings

Serve as a preceptor for medical students and NP/PA trainees

Assist with audits and compliance with state and federal regulations

Rotate between clinic locations as needed

Requirements

Doctorate Degree (MD or equivalent)

Minimum 3+ years of experience in:

Gynecology

Obstetrics & Gynecology

Required Licenses & Certifications

Active Medical Doctor (MD) license – California

Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) license – California

Controlled Dangerous Substances (CDS) certification

American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS)

American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (AHA ACLS)

OBGYN Board Certified or Board Eligible
