What You’ll Do- Evaluate and treat patients in the Obstetric Emergency Department (OBED)
- Manage care for unassigned OB/GYN patients
- Monitor labor, interpret fetal heart tracings, and perform vaginal deliveries and C-sections
- Respond to obstetrical emergencies and evolving labor complications
- Provide consults to the ED and medical floors for pregnancy and gynecologic concerns
- Participate in emergency drills and quality improvement initiatives
- Follow evidence-based protocols ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes
What You Need- MD or DO degree, Board Certified in OB/GYN
- Completion of an accredited ACGME OB/GYN residency, with robotics training preferred
- Current Texas Medical License or willingness to obtain
- Recent delivery and surgical experience, including emergency obstetrics
- Strong clinical skills, teamwork, and a commitment to quality care
About the Assignment
Join a hospital that serves the Arlington community with approximately 1,300-1,500 births annually. Facilities include private maternity suites, a Level III NICU, cesarean birth suites, and a dedicated antepartum area for high-risk pregnancies. Work alongside a multidisciplinary team supporting maternal and neonatal health, including neonatologists, anesthesiologists, midwives, and family medicine physicians. The facility uses Epic EMR, ensuring streamlined patient documentation and communication.
