Baptist Memorial Hospital - North Mississippi, founded in 1912, is a 217-bed acute care hospital that serves the northern third of the state. Its newly built facility at 1100 Belk Boulevard was just completed. The hospital is equipped with a level II NICU and currently see an average of 890 annual births.
Thay are a designated Baby-Friendly hospital that offers breastfeeding counseling and a unique program for expectant mothers called Beautiful Beginnings. North Mississippi also received a Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade of 'A' in 2020.
