What You Will Do:

Ascension Saint Thomas Midtown is looking for an OB/GYN to join our high volume OB/GYN Hospitalist program.

 

Responsibilities

  • Join an established team of 2 physicians and 2 APPs
  • Call structure:  Rotating schedule; 12 or 24-hour shifts
  • Practice setting:  inpatient
  • Employed position within a nonprofit health system
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN
  • Eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration
  • Manage high-volume, rewarding clinical scenarios across Labor & Delivery (L&D), High-Risk OB (HROB), and Postpartum (PP) units.
  • Provide expert evaluation and treatment in the dedicated OB/GYN Emergency Department, and lead emergency surgeries for unassigned GYN inpatients.

What You Will Need:

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Medical Examiners obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. 

Education:

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
